How do I enable my DHL Express contract in the interface?
⚠️Prerequisite: Obtain your DHL API credentials
- Go to the DHL Developer Portal
- Create (or log into) your account
- Generate your API key and Secret
- Keep these credentials ready, they are required during setup in the seller interface

Setup steps in the Seller Interface
- Login into the Seller Interface (Link here)
- Click Shipping profiles in side menu (Main menu)

Click Return shipping contracts in top menu (Tabs)

Click Add Returns Shipping contract

Fill in the form with DHL credentials (API Key + API Secret), Export account number and Import account number:
To find additional information about every data, please, mouse over the info icon next to each field
- Click Add Shipping Contract

You will receive a confirmation through the interface alerts system.

You will be able to expand the carrier (by clicking in the arrow) to check the state per country.
I am using my DHL contract for returns. Who will manage the claims with the carrier if a package is lost or damaged?
Only you can submit a claim with DHL since you are the contract owner, which means that submission and settlement of claims will be as per your usual procedure.
Are returns covered by insurance?
Insurance will not be added to the returns shipment, liability will be as per your DHL Express contract.
