When an order was purchased using a voucher, the voucher amount must be considered when calculating a partial refund. Always use the amount actually paid by the customer as the basis for calculating a partial refund.
To deduct an amount from the customer, calculate the refund based on the amount the customer actually paid:
Customer payment − how much you want to subtract = refund amount
Example:
• Purchase price: €150
• Voucher: €15
• Customer paid: €135
• How much you want to subtract: €10
• Correct refund: €135 − €10 = €125
Do not calculate the refund by subtracting the deduction from the full purchase price. In this example, refunding €140 (€150 − €10) would result in the customer receiving their full €135 payment back.
