Requirements for test reports

✅All test reports reports must contain all standard device information and contain all functional checks

📱Smartphone

• The test report must be from one of the approved softwares
• The test report must contain a scannable, hence verifiable QR code
• The test report must contain all standard device information, such as:
  • Jailbreak / Root status
  • Carrier Branding information
  • Region information (EU or US model)
  • Serial Numbers & originality status of components (exception: test reports for android devices)
  • Serial Number of device
  • Test date
  • iCloud / Google Account status
  • MDM Status
  • Blacklist Status
  • Battery Health % (exception: test reports for android devices)
  • Battery Cycles (exception: test reports for android devices)

• The test report must contain all standard functional checks, following one of the 2 examples:

  

  

💻Laptop

Recommended requirements for test reports / test software and to ensure the highest chance of approval. However also alternative documentation is acceptable:

• Date and time of the test
• Laptop model and manufacturer
• Serial number or unique identifier
• BIOS version (only for windows devices)
• MDM Status Check
• Operating system version
• Processor model and specifications
• RAM GB capacity, DDR type, and MHz speed
• Hard Drive type (SSD/HDD) and capacity
• specify the display type - specify display panel type, (IPS, LCD, OLED etc) and resolution (full HD, 4k)
• Graphics card model and specifications (VRAM amount and type)

Testing areas

1. Status Tests:
   • MacOS devices - iCloud / AppleID / MDM check
2. Hardware Testing:
   • Internal components (RAM, Hard Drive, CPU, GPU) functionality
   • Keyboard and touchpad functionality
   • Screen quality & function (brightness, color accuracy, pixels)
   • Ports and connectors (USB, HDMI, audio, etc.) functionality
   • Webcam functionality
   • Speaker and microphone functionality
   • Connectivity test (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.)
3. Battery Testing (Laptops):
   • Battery health percentage test
   • list the Cycle count
   • Capacity information (list original vs remaining in mAh)
   • Charging test - Battery drain test % of battery lost in x min (specify device activity during test)
4. Thermal Testing:
   • Cooling system performance (thermal management)
     • Peak temperature levels under full system load / while performing stress test (CPU and GPU peak temperature level under full load is x)

🔌Other:

• For other categories (e.g., Airpods), for which there is no approved software or no testing software existing, other proof/documentation has to be provided.

  This proof/documentation should prove that the defect was non-existing (pre- and post-purchase, where required).
