How is the New battery defect rate calculated?
New battery defect rate is calculated only for iPhones. And it is calculated as:
number of defect tickets with topic “battery” / number of devices sold with new battery (in the past 35days)
How does it look?
You will receive an email in which is titled “New Battery defect alert” or “Suspension Warning”
What happens if my defect rate for new battery devices score doesn´t improve?
For devices with new battery, if your battery defect rate remains above 1%, for multiple weeks with no improvement. After multiple alerts, it can lead to a suspension from sales of the devices in the new battery program.
