GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation) is an EU policy tool with the goal to increase product safety within the Union. It aims to ensure consumers have access to relevant safety information before purchasing a product as well as ensure unsafe products and sellers can no longer sell in the EU.
Sellers are under a number of specific obligations, including ensuring that the products they offer are safe for consumers in the EU, proving relevant safety information for the products they sell, and reporting safety incidents.

1. Why is GPSR important?
GPSR ensures that products sold on refurbed meet required EU safety and compliance standards. Part of this includes providing customers with accurate data to help protect them and maintain marketplace quality.
2. What is the current status of GPSR data on refurbed?
Refurbed is proactively populating general GPSR information for selected categories, including:
- iPhones
- Samsung phones
- MacBooks
- Dyson products
- Lenovo laptops
- Google products
This data is provided to support compliance, but it remains your responsibility, as a Seller, to provide missing data and verify accuracy of any existing data.
3. Where can GPSR data be found in Seller Interface?
In the offer´s detail page you can find a “Compliance data” tab. There you have the GPSR data of the offer.
4. What is my responsibility as a Seller?
As a Seller, you are responsible for:
- Actively providing GPSR information for the products you sell on our platform
- Reviewing the GPSR data shown for your offers
- Ensuring the information is accurate and complete
If you identify any incorrect or missing information, you must report it.
You can do this directly in the Offers Details page under the “Compliance data” tab using the available reporting button.
5. How can I report incorrect GPSR data?
You can report issues directly through the 'report an issue' button under the “Compliance data” tab in the Offers Details page.
This is the preferred and fastest way to flag inaccuracies.
6. Can I submit GPSR data for other categories or products?
Yes. If you want to provide GPSR data for products or categories not currently covered, please send the information to: gpsr.compliance@refurbed.com.
7. When an end customer creates a customer support ticket because GPSR information is missing from a product, what is the process?
If an end customer raises a support ticket regarding missing GPSR information, it is the Seller's responsibility to provide the required GPSR data. When information is missing, you must submit the missing details via email (gpsr.compliance@refurbed.com) so that the product information can be updated.
