Purpose of this document is to walk trough Trade-in functionality and get to know how to work with it via the supplier interface.
Lets start with some concepts specific for Trade in:
- Bids: Is the price supplier is willing to pay for a specific device (Product instance name + storage + grade). This price includes the 10% fee that refurbed applies, meaning it is the total amount refurbed will invoices you as a supplier
- SupplyBox: it is the equivalent mechanism of BuyBox but for the Trade in feature. It indicates what bid that is currently winning the SupplyBox, and hence, is shown to customers when selling their devices on site.
- Trade-in Orders: Accepted bids from end-customer, to be managed by suppliers and end-customer.
In Supplier Interface there is an specific menu for Trade-in, available once you have access underneath the marketplace view:
-

Bids creation is available Under the Trade-in Bids section. It is possible to bulk create/update bids, you can check more info here.
There are several inputs necessary for a bid creation:
- Product Name: If you type the name of the device you will receive list of products you can create
- SKU: Supplier internal identifier
- Storage: capacity of the device, you can type number
- Grade: depending on the optics and quality
- Max. No. of times (optional): if not set, this is “unlimited”. This means that this bid will be active with no end. If supplier want only to buy X number of devices, this number can be set and once that amount of devices are bought, bid is inactive
- Markets: Supplier can choose countries their device is active (currently Austria, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal and Finland available)

- Currency: Only EUR available

Second Offer Flow — Updated Flexibility
The Second Offer process is now more flexible and will continue to be improved over time.
What changed?
We removed the previous limitation where the displayed Second Offer price was tied to the bid price that existed when the order was originally created.
Now, the flow always reflects the latest bid price available for that specific product + grading combination. This means that if you keep your bids updated, the Second Offer process becomes much faster and easier to manage.
In any case, if the existing Second Offer price is outdated, you can directly update the corresponding bid price manually, and start second offer flow afterwards.
This can used as a workaround if none of the bids fit the condition of the device.
How it works (in case bid price is not updated)
Let´s use an example: You are managing second offer for an iphone 14 Pro 128 GB Excellent (customer informed an iphone 14 Pro Max excellent 128 GB). If price is not the one you want to offer as second offer (corresponding bid is not updated), you can do it now:
1. Go to the specific bid you want to adjust (as second offer).
2. Update the bid price manually.
3. When managing Second Offer, the updated price will automatically appear there.
-
Important note
Once the bid price is changed, this new price becomes the active price used for the Supplybox process and related calculations/orders.
- Returned: Device has been returned to customer after rejected
