Why is GPSR important?
GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation) ensures that products sold on refurbed meet required EU safety and compliance standards. Part of this includes providing customers with accurate data to help protect them and maintain marketplace quality.
What is the current status of GPSR data on refurbed?
Refurbed is proactively populating general GPSR information for selected categories, including:
- iPhones
- Samsung phones
- MacBooks
- Dyson products
- Lenovo laptops
- Google products
This data is provided to support compliance, but it remains your responsibility, as a Seller, to provide missing data and verify accuracy of any existing data.
Where can GPSR data be found in Seller Interface?
In the offer´s detail page you can find a new tab with “Compliance data”. There you have the GPSR data of the offer.
What is my responsibility as a Seller?
As a Seller, you are responsible for:
- Actively providing GPSR information for the products you sell on our platform
- Reviewing the GPSR data shown for your offers
- Ensuring the information is accurate and complete
If you identify any incorrect or missing information, you must report it.
You can do this directly in the Offers Details page under the “GPSR Compliance” tab using the available reporting button.
How can I report incorrect GPSR data?
You can report issues directly through the 'report an issue' button under the “GPSR Compliance” tab in the Offers Details page
This is the preferred and fastest way to flag inaccuracies.
Can I submit GPSR data for other categories or products?
Yes. If you want to provide GPSR data for products or categories not currently covered, please send the information to:
When an end customer creates a customer support ticket because GPSR information is missing from a product, what is the process?
If an end customer raises a support ticket regarding missing GPSR information, it is the seller's responsibility to provide the required GPSR data. When information is missing, you must submit the missing details via email (gpsr.compliance@refurbed.com) so that the product information can be updated.
